What is Bethel Experience?
Bethel Experience is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young people in our local community, particularly children with disabilities and or neurodiversity. We provide a safe and engaging environment where children can participate in various activities, build self-esteem, and develop new skills.
Do I need any specific qualifications or experience to volunteer?
Volunteer Qualifications:
- No specific qualifications are required to become a volunteer. We seek individuals who are:
- Enthusiastic and energetic
- Enjoy working with children
- Willing to step out of their comfort zone
- Patient
- Possess good communication skills
- Able to think creatively and work well within a team.
What kind of activities do you offer?
At Bethel Experience, we provide a diverse range of activities, both indoors and outdoors, designed to engage children with special needs. Our offerings include thrilling outdoor adventures such as rock climbing, zip lining, raft building, caving, archery, farm tours, swimming, and kayaking. Additionally, we cater to those with sensory needs through activities like sensory trails, sensory play, and painting.
Our activities are thoughtfully tailored to suit children of different age groups. The overarching goal is to foster team-building skills, enhance communication abilities and create lasting connections among participants.
